Gingka saves Kenta from the Face Hunters only to be challenged to a to-1 battle. Gingka and the gang are assaulted with a bey storm when they arrive at the Dark Nebula. On their way to confront Doji, the gang is confronted with traps set by Merci. Travelling to Gingka's village, the gang is tested by Hyoma, an old friend of Gingka's.
Gingka and his friends go to Beyblade Island to participate for the Survival Battle competition. The Survival Battle comes down to the wire with eight competitors remaining. Battles heat up for entry into the Battle Bladers competition and Gingka meets a new rival. The competition heats up with Yu versus Hyoma and Tsubasa taking on Kenta. Gingka makes a long journey around the world in the company of Pegasus in order to avenge his father and regain possession of L Drago, the forbidden bey who was stolen by Doji and Ryuga.
